Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms and threat intelligence tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Generate detailed security reports and incident documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop security policies and procedures
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
