Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity using provided SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with supplied hardware/software
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
- Develop and implement security policies leveraging provided testing equipment
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST frameworks
- Generate detailed security reports using advanced forensic tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency with provided SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with network security protocols and firewalls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations center
