Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security monitoring and threat hunting using SIEM tools
- Lead incident response investigations for cyberattacks
- Develop and implement security hardening strategies for cloud/on-prem systems
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to secure CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud security and IAM configurations
- Proficiency in Splunk, QRadar, or similar SIEM platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Ability to work flexible shifts with daily pay compensation
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
