Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans to mitigate cyber threats effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 Type II.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure network architectures.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to security breaches or incidents.
