As a key member of our security operations center (SOC), you will be responsible for protecting our infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to ensure network integrity.
- Develop and implement security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to secure application development and deployment.
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
