Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Document security protocols and create detailed forensic reports for incident analysis
- Stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities through continuous research
- Lead security awareness training for employees to reinforce best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat analysis, or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners (Nessus, OpenVAS)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and encryption standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents
