Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time.
- Analyze network traffic and system logs for potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Network+.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and common protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance (if applicable).
