Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential system weaknesses.
- Investigate security breaches and coordinate incident response plans to minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage security patches, updates, and configurations across the network.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
