Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation
- Implement zero-trust architecture and access controls
- Collaborate with IT teams on security posture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Document security incidents and create executive reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
