Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Develop incident response playbooks and security documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS standards
- Analyze logs and network traffic for suspicious activities
- Provide security awareness training to staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with active CISSP or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux security hardening
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and CIS benchmarks
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
