Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents and intrusions.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the broader IT team to ensure secure network architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members on security protocols.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
