Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Node.js and AWS Lambda
- Implement secure REST APIs and real-time data pipelines with Kafka
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) and write complex SQL queries
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical roadmap planning
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and serverless computing
- Proven track record of building high-throughput transactional systems
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex full-stack projects
