Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework methodologies
- Document and remediate vulnerabilities in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Perform network intrusion detection using IDS/IPS tools (Snort, Suricata)
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security breaches
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure security services)
- Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
- Valid US government security clearance (preferred)
