Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls and countermeasures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports for stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of threat detection methodologies
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced situations
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
