Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing for financial services clients
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop zero-trust architecture solutions for cloud and hybrid environments
- Create executive-level security dashboards and compliance reporting frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training programs
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat hunting
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in financial services cybersecurity compliance (NYDFS, PCI-DSS)
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Experience leading incident response teams during major breaches
- Ability to translate technical risks into business impact for C-level stakeholders
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
