Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM tools to detect and investigate potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Analyze security incidents, document findings, and implement remediation plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on threat detection experience
- Industry certifications (Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
