Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents and breaches.
- Implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, endpoint detection, and access management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation and threat hunting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
