Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk/SolarWinds).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage firewall rules and network security controls.
- Respond to active security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with IDS/IPS systems and log analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts.
