Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys tools
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Prepare compliance documentation for NIST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards
- Lead incident response procedures during security breaches
- Generate executive security reports and risk assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related role
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (AWS WAF, GCP IAM)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in remote setting
- Preferred: CISSP certification or incident response experience
