Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Develop and execute vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-prem environments
- Create and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security-by-design principles
- Stay current with emerging threats and defensive techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC or security operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during security incidents
