Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to protect sensitive data systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Incident response coordination including forensic investigation and remediation
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Certification in CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent (preferred)
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
