Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents and escalate critical threats
- Document incident reports and maintain security event logs
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support
- Participate in security awareness training and phishing simulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- No cybersecurity experience required - training provided
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Relevant degree (IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred (training available)
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
