Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and initiate response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Investigate security breaches using forensic tools and techniques
- Lead incident response coordination during security events
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols
- Ability to analyze complex security data and create actionable reports
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
