Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response coordination and forensic investigation
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams on hardening network infrastructure
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Provide security awareness training to employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in security operations center (SOC)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Recorded Future)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (if required for site visits)
