Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for vulnerabilities and threats
- Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement remediation actions
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on organizational assets
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry security trends
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders and leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, system architectures, and cloud security
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams
