Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and best practices
- Analyze logs and network traffic to detect anomalous activities
- Prepare detailed security incident reports and executive summaries
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and security automation tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security architectures
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
