Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and IBM QRadar SIEM platforms
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys scanners
- Collaborate with network engineering teams on zero-trust architecture implementation
- Generate executive-level security metrics reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Participate in red team exercises and penetration testing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or security analysis
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to prioritize threats under high-pressure situations
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation
