Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for threat detection and incident response coordination
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and risk assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis of security breaches
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat intelligence analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficient with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
