Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for emerging threats (ransomware, APTs)
- Collaborate with red team to simulate attacks and validate security controls
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Lead incident response coordination during security crises
- Implement NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Proficiency in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common attack vectors
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends for 24/7 coverage
