Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Lead incident response procedures including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and implement security policies, controls, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness training
- Perform forensic analysis and generate comprehensive incident reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Contribute to security architecture improvements and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations (SOC) or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, MITRE ATT&CK, and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences
