Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using diagnostic tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds
- Implement security protocols (VPN, ACLs, IDS/IPS) to protect network assets
- Document network configurations and create/update technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integrations
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network issues
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience (CCNA/JNCIA preferred)
- 3+ years enterprise network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco/Juniper hardware and VMware virtualization
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Security+ certification
- Experience with network automation tools (Python/Ansible)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
