Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Perform security awareness training for employees
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and security automation tools
- Experience with incident response protocols and forensic tools
- Strong understanding of network architecture and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
