Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for 24/7 threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop/implement security protocols for cloud and on-premises environments
- Lead forensic investigations and post-breach remediation efforts
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST)
- Generate executive security reports and actionable threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations, threat hunting, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM frameworks
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
