Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across cloud/on-prem networks
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/analyst roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and system architectures
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to prioritize critical incidents
