Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to incidents
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks and compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and remediate vulnerabilities
- Perform forensic investigations of security breaches and recommend mitigation strategies
- Stay current with evolving cyber threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, AlienVault)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
