Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with incident response teams during breach investigations
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Lead security awareness training for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis role
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP/CISM certifications preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Hands-on experience with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain required clearance
