Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using forensic tools and methodologies
- Implement and maintain security controls for network, cloud, and endpoint systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop incident response playbooks and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity analysis experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and malware analysis tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud architectures
