Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools (EnCase, FTK)
- Develop and maintain detection rules for emerging threats
- Collaborate with incident response teams during breach scenarios
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current on threat intelligence (MITRE ATT&CK Framework)
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- CISSP, CISA, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with Linux/Windows security hardening
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid US government security clearance preferred
