Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with detailed documentation
- Conduct threat hunting and proactive vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate actionable threat intelligence reports for stakeholders
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
- Stay current with emerging threats and security trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/NOC environments
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and log analysis
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint security
- Industry certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency with security tools: IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) compliance frameworks
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Strong written communication for reporting and collaboration
