Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms to identify potential threats
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation actions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and attack vectors
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
