Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response coordination
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident scenarios
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in SOC operations or security analysis
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with Windows/Linux systems and cloud security
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
