Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis of security breaches
- Develop and implement threat detection mechanisms for cloud/on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and patch management
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on incident response experience
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto/Check Point), and IDS/IPS systems
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common attack vectors
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Recorded Future/Mandiant)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows security hardening
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
