Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery of security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into new projects
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Research emerging threat vectors and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or Security+)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and zero-trust architectures
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
