Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents and generate detailed incident reports
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required (CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in network security protocols and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident response and forensics
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
