Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement incident response procedures for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Analyze security alerts and generate detailed incident reports for stakeholders
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
