We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security team in Baton Rouge. In this pivotal role, you will defend our infrastructure against evolving threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data assets.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
