Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, documenting findings and remediation steps
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructures
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance standards (NIST, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations center (SOC) environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and common attack vectors
- Experience with incident response protocols and forensic methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
