Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence and mitigation strategies
- Perform forensic analysis of security breaches and recommend preventive measures
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory compliance requirements (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response roles
- Expertise in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, GIAC preferred)
- Experience with forensic investigation tools (EnCase, FTK, Volatility)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
