Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and threat hunting
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Generate compliance reports for NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Lead security awareness training for employees
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
