Responsibilities
- Monitor & Respond: Analyze security alerts and events via SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect, contain, and remediate security incidents in real-time.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify weaknesses in the IT infrastructure.
- Security Architecture: Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection platforms.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA through documentation and audits.
- Threat Intelligence: Research emerging threats and trends to proactively enhance our defense strategies and security posture.
- Policy Enforcement: Collaborate with IT and Legal teams to develop, update, and enforce corporate security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related IT role.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), Linux, and Windows server administration.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM tools, endpoint protection software, and forensic analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
